SCU Party

After the last league game the SCU girls had a little party! It was one of the girls birthday, so we all gathered for a potluck dinner. They made fleece tie blankets in our team colors!

Hannah and Jade. She use to play with us...we miss her!

The Mower Kidlets

I got to have the Mower kidlets part of the week while Rob and Heather were in Fiji. It was fun to have a baby in the house again and snuggle her! I had Jacob, Taylor, Ethan and Megan. It was fun practicing to be a Grandma one day! School drop-off and pick-ups. Homework, dinner, dishes, lunches, showers, prayers and snuggles. Good Days!

Look at that cute face saying who me? I didn't make that mess!
Ethan always has the best smiles!
Miss adorable!
Handsome Jacob! and all that time Taylor spent here and I didn't get a picture!

Every night Megan was with me I would rock her to sleep and sing I am a child of God. On the 4th night she sang with me! She is so darn cute!! She is 20 months old...click on the video to hear her sweet voice sing!

End of the regular Soccer Season!

The end of the regular soccer season has come. Aralie finished a few weeks ago. Hannah and Aliza finished last weekend. Aliza's team that Leonard Coaches lost their first playoff game in double overtime and the last minute of the game. It was a tough loss, but the girls played so well. Both teams were evenly matched, but the other team prevailed. It was a fun season for Aliza to play her first competitive season.

Hannah's team beat the first place team 4-0 in their last league game. SCU then went on to win the next three playoff games too! We shut out each of our last opponents! Way to go SCU!
Hannah scored two goals that weekend! Hannah has only scored this season when I have been at one of the other girls games! I was teasing her that I wasn't going to come to the game so she could score. She promised me she would score just for me to see. She scored in the first 10 min and then looked my way and pointed at me...everyone was yelling that was for you Mom!

I will miss the fall and getting to see my girls play every Saturday! It really is one of my favorite weekend activities! Hannah has one more playoff weekend and then we are off for a few months.

The Newest Driver in the House

After 6 months and a few weeks of Aralie driving us around...she is on her own now. She passed her driving test today! She was so nervous, but I knew if she would remain calm she would do great. The instructor even told her she drives to slow! Let's hope that translates into no speeding tickets! She has been practicing driving the passat which is a stick shift. She has been doing great and not stalling lately!
I sent her on her first errand tonight to the store!
Off to seminary and school on her own tomorrow!

The Banry, Hoskins, Joost and Mower Girls went to see the Season 5 So You Think You Can Dance Tour at the Nokia Theater. It was a wonderful night of Mother Daughter bonding! Lots of great dances and funny routines!
Jeanine and Jason's dance was awesome!
Melissa and Ade's breast cancer dance was still very moving!
