Little Hands, Big Heart

Yesterday was one of those "no good, very bad, horrible, rotten days! By the afternoon I had a serious stress headache! I decided to lay down and try to get a 20 minute power nap. As I was lying there and the darkness was enveloping me, I felt a small, soft, warm hand slip inside mine and give it a little squeeze. As I opened my eyes I see her bright smile and she says, "Mommy, I love you!"
The worries and stress of the day were gone for a moment, my heart was filled with warmth and love. I realize that it is these small quiet moments that connect us as people and family! Thank you Aliza for sharing you warm compassionate spirit and brighting my dreary day!

Foreigner/ Styx Concert

A Big Thank You to Heather for being born on May 18 and having a big concert to celebrate! The Mowers treated us to a Fabulous Evening starting a Vitello's for a scrumptious pasta dinner and then on to the Concert. Kansas, Foreigner and Styx were all playing.

Kansas playing Dust in the Wind!
Foreigner playing Hot Blooded! They were my favorite of the night! They played all my favorite songs! The lead singer has only been with them for 5 years, but he did a great job! Sounded Original!

Styx playing Renegade! Tommy Shaw has some great arms!
We had backstage passes courtesy of Rich Best. While Backstage April and I ran into a gentleman, he stopped and posed for us with that look on his face, " you know who I am, right?" Uh, sorry we didn't, until he walked on stage! It was Tommy Gimble of Foreigner! Opps!
It was an Amazing evening with great food, friends and music!
Thanks Heather and Rob!

LDS Prom for Aralie

Aralie's first formal dance...LDS Prom!
It is at the Aquarium of the Pacific. We went down to the garment district in LA and found this gorgeous dress. She wanted orange and we found it in the third store! The jacket did not come with the dress, we found the material in a fabric store and had it made. It could not have matched any better!
I even got her to agree to wear makeup and jewelry...that was amazing in itself!
She had her hair done at a salon in town! Love it!!!

She is so Stunning!

Michael Buble!

For Christmas Aralie, Len and I got Michael Buble concert tickets! However, we had to wait until April 9th to go see him at Staples Center. I had no idea that I had got such great seats until we were there!
Right on the floor in the Center!

Towards the end of the concert He came down into the Audience and was right in front of us!

He is an amazing entertainer! He is witty and so charismatic on Stage!
We had a amazing night!

The Scenery

This guy was just enjoying the view!
A few months ago they put up a sand-burn to help with some very high tides!
Now there is just a big pile of rocks on the beach. But, the kids had fun rock collection!
