While traveling in Utah, we came across stretches where the speed limit was 80!!! It was great...that meant anything in the 80 range was good...right! It felt like the natural speed to drive those long flat stretches of highway...I think California needs to take a look at that!

My husband is a true Utahan and is very accustomed to the speed limit here. I think he's thoroughly spoiled, actually. Whenever we drive through other states, like Oregon or California, he always has to complain about the "reduced" speed limit. :) It's really no big deal to me.
