Aralie's Talk

Aralie volunteered for a talk today in Sacrament. Then she was asked to play the piano for Primary. She needed to learn four new songs for that. This on top of Soccer try-outs this week. Needless to say it has been a busy week for her. Her topic for her talk was "how to make a difference by being a friend to everyone." When she first started researching her topic, she looked up friendship. Nothing popped out at her, so she went to Brotherhood and Sisterhood. Again, nothing popped...so she went to missionary work. That's what stood out to her. She related how becoming friends strengthens missionary work. When we share the gospel with those we care about, it strengthens our friendships...even if they just understand us a little better. Our family has been impacted greatly by missionary work. We would not have an eternal family if not for missionary work. I am grateful my children love the gospel and want to share it with friends. Great Job Aralie!
