One year ago this weekend we were in New Orleans with the Mowers for a weekend getaway. The food was fabulous and the adventure was awesome!
Mother's the best Southern Food around!! The Debris sandwich is my favorite!This year 1 million people are fleeing the city from Hurricane Gustave. We were there on the 2nd anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. We went out on scooter's for a day and saw the destruction left by the Hurricane and subsequent levee breaks. It was tremendously sad to see how much destruction was still there. This year I'll be praying for the people on the Gulf Coast.
