While Leonard and I went to Hannah's last soccer tournament, Aralie went with the Paar's to her tournament in Lancaster. Aralie's team has come a long way since it first started playing together. When the team first came together as All-Stars back in Dec., they had so much talent on the team. However, they just couldn't pull it together to win any games. That streak continued in their early tournaments too. Then in April there was a change, you could see they were coming together as a team. The team started placing in tournaments. At our own SCV Showdown they finally did it and took first place! They have continued to place at each tourney.
This weekend they played toughed and won FIRST place again. The championship game was a tough one. When the fourth qtr was over it was 1-1. Both overtimes were scoreless. Shootout ended with 5-1. Taylor(our goalie) blocked 4 goals! Way to go Lightning
